You got an 89% on a test. But the teacher will bump you up to an A because they see the effort. You say thank you sincerely. You get pulled over for speeding. The officer lets you go on a warning because he sees that you really weren’t paying attention to your speed and didn’t mean to. Don’t you just hate when you reach the point where you feel like you’re the one doing all of the work towards a relationship? It’s like the other person is just slowly not caring about you anymore. They don’t hit you up first as often as they used to. They’re not as clingy as they used to be. Bottom line is: in the end, someone gives up and stops trying.
