One Year.
This took awhile because I didn’t know how I was gonna write this. Or how I was gonna show this to you. But here it is. :)
A year of ups, a year of downs. Yet, it’s still a year. With many more to come. I asked you to be mine a year ago and it’s been a journey and back since. We laughed, cried, yelled, smiled, and everything in between but the best part is that it’s US. We’re ourselves around each other. We didn’t have to change for the chase. And even with us being together, the chase never ends.
There have been times where either one of us could have easily walked out on each other. There may have been once or twice where we actually did. But all that matters is what stands. And I love you for that. For sticking with it. For sticking through it. For everything.
Just like how you gave me a bit of news a few days ago about how things are up there, I shouldn’t be surprised because it’s the same down here. People still ask me how I do this with you, especially being my second LDR. A few people at work who haven’t seen me for awhile always ask how I get by without feeling your touch, feeling your hugs, feeling your kiss, or feeling your….. But I always tell them the same thing. It’s never about that. It’s never about the physical actions, but the feelings behind them. The feeling of having someone, of having you is all that matters.
Speaking of work, Michelle Idica says, “Hi Cousin. :)” Lol. She strolled by on her break from Chaminade and we talked for a few minutes.
But yes, I love you. Happy One Year and I can’t wait for Disneyland with you! :) :) :)

<3 I’m so glad I fell in love with my best friend. I didn’t need to put up a front to impress him. I was myself and he was himself. I accepted him for who he is and he accepted me for who I am. He says he wants to be “better” for me, but he can’t because he is my BEST<3.
